We are one of the few clinics in Canada that can offer several state of the art alternatives for the treatment of large varicose veins. Some are covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan but, unfortunately, many of the newer techniques like Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and phlebectomy are not.

For each patient we provide a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis of varicose veins (including an Ultrasound assessment of leg veins), and advice on lifestyle measures to prevent further progression of vein problems

What treatment is right for you?
The number of options can be confusing. Only after appropriate testing can we help you make the right treatment choice. This is done with a duplex ultrasound which allows us to see the veins and whether the valves are working. The choices we offer you depend on the results of your tests and, to an extent, your own needs and desires. Often there is more than one treatment choice available and then you must help us weigh the pros and cons to decide what is best for you.
